“We are thrilled to be announcing the official launch of the BYOU Apparel line at the Rise event, I couldn’t think of a better place to introduce our new line designed to empower girls with the message it is ok to Be YOU”, said BYOU CEO Debra Gano, herself a multi award-winning author of self-esteem books for girls.

“Cymphonique speaks powerfully for girls everywhere, encouraging them to stay true to themselves and to go for their dreams, knowing that they are tomorrow’s leaders. Her message for girls is a beautiful compliment to the empowering work is doing for women.”

Cymphonique has a strong commitment to girls’ empowerment. She realizes that, in addition to the powerful influence she has with girls in the vulnerable 7-14 age group through her music and acting, she can exponentially spread her message through fashion.

In addition to her professional career as an actress, singer, songwriter, and dancer, Cymphonique’s special skills are competitive kickboxing, swimming, drawing, and playing the piano. While committed to upholding her honor student status, she is inspired by her passion to help others, she has created a book series to empower young girls called Fabulous Girls, and founded Fabulous Girls Charity to help bring awareness to kids with cancer.

“The mission of BYOU, LLC is to build the self-esteem of girls, teens, and young women worldwide, encouraging them to embrace their unique and authentic selves,” says Gano. “Our goal is to diminish the need for girls to seek external validation and approval. Through our products and education, we empower girls to make positive choices for their health, safety, well-being, personal happiness, and contribution to community. We fully support their right to be authentic to who they truly are from the inside other words, to be your own you.”
